Pop Of Red

Back in the Netherlands from my vacation in my hometown Suriname, while fighting a fever on the couch, I’ve decided I couldn’t make you guys wait any longer for a new post.

I’ve shot these a while back, the observant eye will see it was only the beginning of fall. I apologise for the lack of posts, but those of you who know me personally or follow me on social media might be able to imagine the craziness I’ve been through. At some point I had to make a priority list, and blogging simply didn’t make the top. With the opening of my own store Wulterkens Customized Wear in Hilversum, and a well deserved vacation after, I just wanted to focus on business and getting myself sane again after. Therefore I also decided to lay off on doing photoshoots during my vacation, but no worries, I’m back! As soon as I’m done with this flu, I’ll be shooting again and I have a list of topics planned out for you.

Suriname was great, as it always is. I really enjoyed spending quality time with my parents again, and I might have partied a bit too much. From many lunches and dinners with new and old friends, street parties in the city, Moët & Chandon meetings (read getting verrry tipsy) with girlfriends on a regular working Monday afternoon, to refreshing afternoons by the pool at my dad’s and spending some time in the tropical forest.  I look back on everything with gratitude and a smile. For a glimpse on my vacation, check out my Instagram

I’ve also had the privilege of doing a fun tv-interview about my views on entrepreneurship in Suriname. In addition, I got to assist my inspiring friend Jean-Luc van Charante as a keynote speaker in his motivational seminar ”Create Your Own 2017”. It was an interesting and fun experience, where I got to share my tips and tricks on successful goal-setting. I’m looking forward to more public speaking experiences, as I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise with others, so I’m planning on doing more of this in the future.

I hope you enjoy this simple, but elegant look in this short photo diary. The pop of red makes a perfect valentine look as well! (Adding some sexy lingerie underneath is optional 😉 ).

My coat is from SheIn. Gloves & Bag are from BBarbarella by Trees, Kerkstraat 63/39, 1211 CL Hilversum (Gooische Brink Passage). Direct shopping links below!

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find quite similar gloves, so those who really love them as much as I do, will have to come by Hilversum, BBarbarella by Trees. If you do, make sure you drop by the Wulterkens Store as well ;-).
